Review: Aritaum Sugarball Cushion Blusher

Hi loves! Spring and summer is time when I take out my cream blushes. It so fuss free to apply and the newest addition to my collection is Aritaum Sugarball Cushion Blusher in shade 1 Rosy Pink ($14.39).

It comes in a cute pink packaging and inside there is a mirror, applicator and the cream blush itself. The formula of it is light weight and creamy. The shade I have is light pink and is perfect for this time of the year. I like to apply it with a stipple brush. It helps to apply the products evenly and it makes blending it out effortless. When ever I use cream blushes, I like to use cream contouring as well. It looks otherwise weird, if I apply the contouring powder after my blush is set with a setting powder.

On the pictures above you can see the swatches. On the left is the blush unblended. It looks so strong, but once its blended out it looks beautiful shade for pale skin tone (the picture on the right). It doesn't feel sticky once its blended into the skin. I did notice when swatching and blending it out on had, that it has little glitters in it, which is not noticeable when I look at the product itself. Also I haven't noticed it when I have applied it on my self. I think the setting powder takes away that effect, which I like.

The staying powder of it is great. Its long lasting formula, which stays put all day with out fading or been patchy.

Overall I like this blush. Its not really a cushion blush, more like cream blush. I would like it to have no glitter in it, then it would be perfect summer blush for me. Other then that I like the color, packaging and the formula of the blush.

If you wanna check it out for yourself you can do so here. There is altogether 4 shades available.

Review: Goldwell Kerasilk Control Rich Protective Oil

Hi loves! I have naturally dry hair and hair oil is must have for me. I have been using Goldwell Kerasilk Control Rich Protective Oil (75ml, €25.90).

The Goldwell hair oil comes in a golden bottle and has a pump. Its easy and comfortable to use. The formula of it feels bit thicker then traditional oil. Its with brilliant color protection, which I need, as I have color treated hair. It also provides heat protection to the hair and gives shine.

This oil gives my hair softness, shine and takes away frizziness. It also makes my hair smell so good :) The scent it has is sweet floral scent. I use it every morning and evening, because my hair is so dry. Its easier to comb through the hair when ever I use this hair oil. I have used up most of it and I do consider buying a new one. Its so nice oil and I recommend it to my mom and she loves it too.

I have used from the same range the shampoo and conditioner (review), and I do love these as well. Only product I have left to try is the hair mask, which I plan to get next time I'm in Estonia. I buy it in the hair salon, where I get my hair done. Its mostly sold in salons, but I did find it here, if you are interested and its cheaper there.

Which is your favorite hair oil?

Review: Sisley Paris Phyto-Blush Éclat | 4 Pinky Rose

Hi loves! Hope you are all doing well! I'm back home and summer is already here. Everything is green and the outside its 29C :)

Today's post is on a item, which is perfect for spring/summer and its Sisley Paris Phyto-Blush Éclat in shade 4 Pinky Rose (7g). There is altogether 5 shades.

The blush comes in a beautiful black and white compact and inside is the blush, brush and also nice size mirror. The blush contains 2 different shades pink and more nude shade. The blush has satin finish and gives a slight glow to the cheeks.

The powder brush is very fine, applies evenly and is easy to blend. It gives fresh color to the cheeks, which is what I want for spring time. Its so effortless to apply and it gives my cheeks color which lasts all day. The formula of the blush is enriched with woodmallow, gardenia and lime blossom and soothes and protects the skin.

On the left you can see the swatches from L to R: the darkest shade, the lightest shade and two shades mixed together. I wear it always mixed together and I love the light pink shade for this time of the year.

I'm so happy I decided to get it and I bought it with my Sisley points (10 euros gives you 1 point and you can use the points on their webpage to buy products). Its so flattering shade for my pale skin and its so effortless to use.

Have you tried any Sisley makeup products? Which is your favorite?

Review: Figs & Rouge Pore Refining Anti-Blemish Day Cream

Hi loves! I have been testing out Figs & Rouge Pore Refining Anti-Blemish Day Cream (50ml).

The cream comes in a clean white packaging and is made in the UK. Its a squeeze tube, which makes getting the products out easy. This cream claims to combat breakouts and promotes a clearer complexion. Also claims to balance the skin and provide moisture. Its for oily, blemish prone and sensitive skin.

Active ingredients:
  • Hyaluronic Acid - provides hydration to the skin.
  • Phenylethanoids, Glycosides Anti-bacterial, Anti-inflammatory from Plantago Laneolata, Mahonia Aquifolium - help to reduce skin impurities  with clinically demonstrated effectiveness.
  • Sodium Salicylate - promotes healthier skin renewal.

The cream itself is light weight and sinks into the skin easily. It is scented and heavily, which I personally don't like. It can't be for sensitive skin when it smells like parfume (its the biggest irritant). To be honest I haven't like any of their skincare and I really wanted to like this. I have got more brake outs when using it then with any other cream. So I don't think it helps with blemishes. But my pores do look bit better, but the change is not a huge. As moisturizer for oily skin its good. Its light and doesn't feel too much. Maybe its for younger skin and not for someone who is in their 30's (even though they have issues with their pores).

Its a 3rd item I have tried from them and I just can't seem to like it. I think I have one more skincare item from them to try and I wish that will work for me.

Have you tried any of their skincare before?

Review: Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

Hi loves! Wishtrend was kind enough to send me Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner (180ml, $21.99), which is second version of the original Supple Preparation Facial Toner (review).

This toner comes in a clear plastic bottle and the toner itself is clear and thicker then water. What makes this toner different then the original version is that it doesn't contain any essential oils and that makes it scent free.

I use it as I did the original one, I apply it to cotton round and then use it on my face. Its very gentle formula and there really has no scent to it. Its perfect for sensitive skin beauties. I love how fast the toner sinks into the skin and it balances the pH level, enhance hydration and clams the skin. I loved the original one and this version is as good as the the first one.

Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Dimethyl Sulfone, Betaine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Natto Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polyquaternium-51, Chlorphenesin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Panthenol, Arginine, Luffa Cylindrica Fruit/Leaf/Stem Extract, Beta-Glucan, Althaea Rosea Flower Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Portulaca, Oleracea Extract, Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Copper Tripeptide-1

I'm so happy Wishtrend sent it to me :) And this is amazing toner! I don't see any other difference then the scent. It works as well as the original one. Love it!

You can find both of the toners here, if you are interested :)

Which is your favorite toner at the moment?

Review:Estate Crayon | Sweeter Season

Hi loves! I have been all about lip liners and glosses. Today's review is on Estate Crayon in shade Sweeter Season ($8.00). There is altogether 6 shades available in their crayon range.

I discovered this brand through subscription box and I'm glad I did. This lipliner is absolutely gorgeous. Their products are cruelty free and don't contain paranbens. The lipliner is a pencil, which I do need to sharpen. I love the other end is the same color as the lipliner, so its easier to picking out a lip color.

The formula of the lipliner is not as creamy as some of my other lipliners (like Nabla Velvetline lipliners). Its bit stiff, but it doesn't tug my lip. It just takes bit longer to apply it, but the color it leaves behind is worth it. For me its perfect pinky nude and I love wearing a gloss over it.

On the left you can really see how beautiful the shade is and how pigmented it is. It gives my lips a color that last as long as I don't eat and thats because of the gloss. I'm really happy with it and the only thing I would complains is the stiffness of the liner, but its not as bad that I wouldn't use it.

I'm in love with this shade and keep using it! If you wanna check these out you can find all shade here, but these are all sold out at the moment :(

What kind of lipliners do you like?

Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette + Video

Hi loves! Sorry for missing so many posts this weeks and the reason is, that I have been traveling all week. I have been in France, Belgium, Netherlands, then back to France and now I'm finally back home. I'm like on a crazy Europe tour.

Today's post is on Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette. I have been playing with it now 2 weeks and to be honest I don't get why it got so much hate. I'm really impressed with the quality.

The palette has cardboard packaging, which is covered with soft velvet and closes magnetically. Inside there is double ended brush (which is actually good), mirror and 14 eyeshadows: 3 shimmery and 11 matte eyeshadows.

The shadows are pigmented and blend out easily. There is fall out, but not more then with my Lorac eyeshadows. I love how intense the shadows are and how true to color they apply. These lasted very well on me and there wasn't creasing or fading through out the day.

  • Cube - is a due chrome pink pearl. Its gorgeous shade and I love the light pink sheen it as.
  • Dawn - is ultra matte sand
  • Destiny - is ultra matte sage green
  • Adorn - is metallic bronze. Its so pigmented!
  • All Star - is ultra matte vintage wine
  • Mercury - is ultra matte slate grey
  • Axis - ultra matte blue green
  • Roxy - is ultra matte muted coral. It looks stunning in the crease to add bit of color for everyday makeup look.
  • Electric - is duo chrome lime gold. Its my all time favorite shade. It looks so stunning!
  • Fudge - is ultra matte warm bronze
  • New Wave - is ultra matte citron orange
  • Untamed - is ultra matte tarnished green
  • Edge - is ultra matte gold mustard
  • Rowdy - is ultra matte blackened purple

I'm so taken with this palette! I love the shimmers and the mattes. I also love the colors in the palette, because I don't own many of these type of greens and yellows. Every time I use their shadows I'm reminded how much I enjoy their matte formula. I need to invest into their single matte shadows :)

Down below you can see the video of 2 looks I did with this palette and I'm so happy with the quality of the shadows.

I find the negative reviews made the issue with the fall out bigger then it is. If you are gentle with these shadows there is no massive fall out like so many YouTube videos showed.

Do you have this palette? What has your experience been with it?

Review: Goldwell Dualsenses Silver Shampoo

Hi loves! I have been since autumn blond and have been using Goldwell Dualsenses Silver Shampoo (250ml) to keep it cool tone and take away the yellowness.

It comes in a white squeeze tube packaging and its easy to get out the products. I love the clean style their packaging has. This shampoo is for gray and blond hair. Its purple shampoo, which maintains the cool tone and in my case takes away the yellowness that blond hair can have, specially when the water contains iron.

It claims to be gentle as water and their unique Fade Stop Formula minimizes color fading with every use. And I use it usually every 2 weeks, but lately I have used it once a week (I only wash my hair once a week).

Their unique color technology contains Luminescine, which transforms non visible UV light into visible light for brilliance. It gives life to my hair and it doesn't look dull, which can happen when you color treat your hair. Their products really keep my hair in good condition.

Like I mentioned I don't use it every week, sometimes I skip a week and use their Kerasilk Control Shampoo & Conditioner (review). But sometimes I just need something to tame that yellow in my hair. Their silver shampoo noticeably takes away the warm tones. It doesn't try out my hair, which is already naturally dry. I'm really happy with the result I get with this shampoo.

Which is your favorite purple shampoo?
