Best of Beauty 2017: Skincare, Body & Fragrance

Hi loves! Its the second part of this post, you can see the first post here. In this we are exploring all the skincare, body care and a scent I discovered in 2017 :)

Body & Fragrance:

Lets start with a fragrance and I have been loving in 2017 Sisley Izia eau de Parfum (30ml, 78 EUR, review). This is perfect summer scent, with floral notes and it has bit of sweetness to it.

The next one is a hand cream from Jo Malone. Its the Vitamin E Hand Treatment (100ml, 52 EUR, review) and its the best one I have ever tried. I don't think I have ever been that into a hand cream. It keeps my hands so soft.

Skincare:

Next is Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser (100ml, $16.99, review). I love to use it when I do 10 step skincare routine. It removes all the dirt off my skin, but is gentle at the same time.

I also have been loving By Wishtrend Mandelica Acid 5% Skin Prep Water (120ml, $22.00, review). This makes my skin look lovely and smooth. I love how nice my skin looks whenever I use it. I also didn't have any this time of the month brake outs when using it.

Best eye serum ever is Premier Prestige Eye Serum (35ml, $349.99, review). It makes my under eye area look so smooth and takes care of those annoying fine lines <3

What has kept my lips smooth is Sensai Total Lip Treatment(15ml, 88 EUR, review). I run out of it today in the morning, which is sad, as its my favorite lip treatment. I use it morning and evening to have smooth, plump lips :)

I have 2 mask favorites and the first is Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask (90ml, $27, review). This is night mask and whenever I use it the next day I have hydrated and firmer looking skin. I sometimes use it as a day cream as well. I love what it does to my skin.

The last item in this post is Premier Miracle Noir Mask (60ml, 133.79 EUR, review). This is super nourishing mask and I love to do it in the evenings. It plumps the skin and makes the fine lines softer and less noticeable.

This is it for my yearly faves. I do hope you enjoyed this post. I love every single product in this list and I have a backup of some of them ;) Let me know in the comments which are your faves.

Review: Tini Candlelit Barfly Highlighter

Hi loves! I love cream highlighters and the natural look they give is perfect for everyday use. Tini Candlelit Barfly Highlighter (3.5g, $12.00) is beautiful light champagne shade.

It comes in a stick and its such a easy way to apply the product on the cheek bones. It has just enough creaminess to it and its easy to blend out with finger tips or a brush. Once its blend into the skin it doesn't feel sticky, it becomes one with a skin. I always apply cream products before I apply the powder. What I like about cream products is, even if I have applied bit too much products on my cheek bones, the powder I'll apply on top of it will tone it down and makes it more wearable.

Their products are cruelty free, fragrance free and there is no parabens. It hasn't cause my skin to brake out or be irritated.

Like I mentioned I like to use it on my cheek bones and also on the bridge of the nose. It can also be used on brow bone and on decollate.

Down below you ca see the swatch and don't mind the red tones. I made pictures of liquid lipstick swatches and it stained my hand. Its very heavy swatch, it looks much more wearable once its blended out.

I think its beautiful highlighter and looks gorgeous on skin. There is no glitter pieces in it. It gives a gorgeous glow to the skin and it doesn't brake the bank. If you are interested you can check the highlighter out here

What kind of highlighters do you like?

Review Colourpop Truth Be Told Lip Bundle

Hi loves! I have fallen in love with Colourpop liquid lipsticks. They are affordable and there is so many beautiful colors to choose from. I picked up their bundle Truth Be Told ($16.50), which contains 3 liquid lipsticks in shade: First of All, Cashing Out and Ambush. These 3 are from their Ultra Satin Lip range.

The liquid lipsticks come in a clear tube and the applicator is standard dow foot. I like their applicators are not too big. Its just in a right size to apply the product.

The formula of it glides on easily and these are pigmented. 2 out of 3 apply evenly, with one shade I had issues getting even application. These are drying like all liquid lipsticks, but I feel it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I feel my lips are kind of used to it and I don't get chipped lips any more. It also might be that I take more care of my lips :)

These do dry down fast and don't go out the lines through out the day (as long as you don't eat anything). I feel after eating it does want to smudge a little from the corners of the mouth. Other then that it stays on all day well and I have to reapply it only when I have had food.

  • Ambush - is a classic red. I love how beautiful it looks and every time I have worn it I get compliments (link).
  • Cashing Out - is a deeper red shade, which is the one that doesn't apply evenly. It looks beautiful in the tube, but I can't make it work for me :( It also stains lips.
  • First of All - is a darker warmer pink shade. Its another stunning shade and you can see how it looks on lips here.

Its disappointing one of the shades didn't work for me, but overall I'm very happy with this bundle. I love the 2 satin lips in my collection and I'll get lot of use out of these shades. If you are interested in this bundle you can check it out here (its on sale at the moment).

Which is your favorite liquid lipstick brand?

Review: Wet n Wild Contouring Palette

Hi loves! Contouring is something I do everyday and I love to find new powders. I found myself liking Wet n Wild Contouring Palette (12.5g). Now that I have a tan going on it looks flattering one me and not at all too warm for my skin tone.

There is 2 shades in the palette: highlighting shade and contouring shade, which in my pale state is too dark and bit too warm. Now that I have bit of tan going on from vacation it fits me better and I have been enjoying it.

The powders are nicely pigmented, but powdery, so I always tap it off before applying it. It blends into the skin nicely and it lasts all day on me with out fading. I have noticed with some bases it lasts better then others. I have a tester of Lancome new foundation and my powders (blush, bronzer, contouring powder) last so much longer and end of the day my makeup looks fresher.

As you can see I have been loving this duo. Its so fuss free to use and I love its affordable. I do love my luxury beauty products, but getting something from drugstore and ends up working for me is a great feeling. I wont be able to use it once I loose my tan, but summer is soon here, so hopefully I don't get too pale ;)

Which is your favorite contouring powder?
