Hi loves! Sorry for missing so many posts this weeks and the reason is, that I have been traveling all week. I have been in France, Belgium, Netherlands, then back to France and now I'm finally back home. I'm like on a crazy Europe tour.
Today's post is on Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette. I have been playing with it now 2 weeks and to be honest I don't get why it got so much hate. I'm really impressed with the quality.
The palette has cardboard packaging, which is covered with soft velvet and closes magnetically. Inside there is double ended brush (which is actually good), mirror and 14 eyeshadows: 3 shimmery and 11 matte eyeshadows.
The shadows are pigmented and blend out easily. There is fall out, but not more then with my Lorac eyeshadows. I love how intense the shadows are and how true to color they apply. These lasted very well on me and there wasn't creasing or fading through out the day.
- Cube - is a due chrome pink pearl. Its gorgeous shade and I love the light pink sheen it as.
- Dawn - is ultra matte sand
- Destiny - is ultra matte sage green
- Adorn - is metallic bronze. Its so pigmented!
- All Star - is ultra matte vintage wine
- Mercury - is ultra matte slate grey
- Axis - ultra matte blue green
- Roxy - is ultra matte muted coral. It looks stunning in the crease to add bit of color for everyday makeup look.
- Electric - is duo chrome lime gold. Its my all time favorite shade. It looks so stunning!
- Fudge - is ultra matte warm bronze
- New Wave - is ultra matte citron orange
- Untamed - is ultra matte tarnished green
- Edge - is ultra matte gold mustard
- Rowdy - is ultra matte blackened purple
I'm so taken with this palette! I love the shimmers and the mattes. I also love the colors in the palette, because I don't own many of these type of greens and yellows. Every time I use their shadows I'm reminded how much I enjoy their matte formula. I need to invest into their single matte shadows :)
Down below you can see the video of 2 looks I did with this palette and I'm so happy with the quality of the shadows.
I find the negative reviews made the issue with the fall out bigger then it is. If you are gentle with these shadows there is no massive fall out like so many YouTube videos showed.
Do you have this palette? What has your experience been with it?
Thank you for reading! xo's
I agree! Subculture is beautiful and I didn't experience the same problem that others had.
